Which review platforms does Reviewaroo support?
Reviewaroo pulls reviews from Google, Facebook, Yelp, and your industry-specific review sites. All five are included in every plan. You don't need to use all five — connect only the platforms where your community has a presence.
What exactly is a Google Place ID?
A Place ID is a unique identifier that Google assigns to every business location on Google Maps. It looks like this: ChIJN1t_tDeuEmsRUsoyG83frY4. You need it so Reviewaroo knows which Google Business Profile to pull reviews from. You can find yours for free using Google's Place ID Finder tool — no account required.
How do I get a Google Places API key?
Go to console.cloud.google.com, create a project, and enable the Places API. Google gives you a free tier that covers thousands of requests per month — far more than a typical facility website needs. We provide step-by-step instructions in your setup email once you purchase. Facebook, Yelp, and your industry-specific review sites do not require API keys.
How often does the review feed refresh?
By default, Reviewaroo caches your reviews from all connected platforms and refreshes daily. If you receive a new review on any source today, it will appear on your site within 24 hours. You can trigger a manual refresh from the settings panel at any time.
Can I control how many reviews are shown?
Yes. In the settings, you can set a maximum number of reviews to display (e.g., show only the 6 most recent). You can also filter by minimum star rating — most clients show only 4- and 5-star reviews.
What if I have more than one location?
Each license key covers one domain. If you manage multiple facility websites, you'll need a license for each. Our Tier 2 and Tier 3 plans give you a lower per-site rate for 4+ locations. See the Pricing page.
Does this work with page builders like Elementor or Divi?
Yes. The shortcode [srs_reviews] works in any shortcode-compatible area, including Elementor text widgets, Divi text modules, and Beaver Builder. The Gutenberg block is natively supported in the block editor.
